We are seeking a talented and self-motivated hybrid data analyst / engineer role to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong analytic skills and experience mapping and translating data to deliver meaningful insights through reporting and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analytics & Visualization:
   • Standardization and automation of Actuarial models (in conjunction with Actuarial Team)
   • SQL code development and maintenance to support analytic requirements
   • Analytic reporting development and translation into insightful visualizations
2. Data Integration and Transformation:
   • Develop and maintain data quality processes
   • Data integration and mapping to standardize and transform disparate sources into one normalized state
   • Data source and content evaluation for use in analytic processes
   • Develop and maintain ETLprocesses to transform raw data into meaningful insights
   • Optimize data workflows for performance and efficiency
3. Database Management:
   • Design and implement data models, schemas, and tables to support business requirements
   • Manage and maintain relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
   • Perform database tuning, indexing, and optimization for query performance
   • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA)
   • Monitor data pipelines to identify and resolve issues proactively
   • Implement logging and alerting mechanisms for data-related incidents
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Be part of a supportive and knowledgeable team who work closely together and take accountability in their deliverables
   • Be responsible, self-motivated, and lean-in to challenges
   • Support fast paced Product and Analytic Teams on data driven analytics for long-term engagements and short-term projects
   • Collaborate with Full Stack engineers to integrate data solutions with applications and services
   • Provide documentation and training to ensure data accessibility and usability

Qualifications:

• Understanding of healthcare files such as Claims, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) data
• Data visualization using PowerBI
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake)
• Work in collaboration with Product and Analytics Teams to establish / maintain a dynamic data architecture built to support complex analytic models
• Develop and undertake data testing to detect and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in data processes and analytical models
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, NOSQL)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Experience with cloud services
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of source code management

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience. You will work on both the front-end and back-end, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front-End Development:
   • Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
   • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
   • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
   • Implement and maintain user interface components following well-known workflows and toolchains
2. Back-End Development:
   • Design and develop server-side logic, APIs
   • Collaborate with a Data Engineer on database schema and app integration
   • Work with server-side languages such as Python and object-oriented PHP
   • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
   • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
3. DevOps and Deployment:
   • Manage services in the cloud (AWS, Azure) such as SFTP, LightSail, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway and Dynamo DB, S3 etc..
   • Manage microservices in the cloud using Docker and Kubernetes
   • Provide advice on the cost effective use of other cloud services to meet business needs
   • Automate provisioning and configuration of services using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools such as Cloudformation, Ansible and Terraform
   • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues with Cloudwatch, Prometheus and Grafana
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
   • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
   • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role
• Experience in the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in front-end languages and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScrip)
• Strong knowledge of back-end languages and frameworks (Python, PHP)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, Semantic Versioning)
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Knowledge of cloud services and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
